blue screen i suppose u mean the Famous XP SOD (Screen of Death) that means he has an fatal error in ur system. last time i had those screens was the cause of my graphic card burned out.

My Personal Advice:
1. Make a HD scan for any errors.
2. Make a Virus scan for any viruses.
3. reinstall ur drivers and by installing . take the latetst updates.
4. Reinstally BF2 tottaly (yeah i know but still it can help)

if the screen still apears . try other games that u have that requires some heavy system. still failing?

5. If u restart mostly if u have XP. there will be a Message at the reboot of the windows that he sais ''an fatal error appeared it has been fixt''' or something like that, and there appears 2 button 1. to send a report to Microsoft. 2nd more about the error . press that one and write down the error and Google around
6. or turn off in ''System'' that XP reboots Automaticly and wait for that the Blue screen appears again then he wont reboot so u have time to write down the error tottaly. go to google and search again or bring ur pc to the Shop and give themm the piece of paper where u wrote the error on. and let it be fixt.

mostly when the Screen of Death appears there is something really wrong with ur system or Platform

so bring it to the pc shop and let it be fixed or at least let them look what the problem is.

I know exactly what your talking about, I spent 5000 on my system, and then I get these errors, just turn down your graphics one setting, and then try that. It is most likely an overheating issue..

well that report seem to come up a lot in XP. well, try this

Go to Configuration --> System ---> look for a tab with the function to turn of that XP reboots automaticly when the blue screen turns on.  if the blue screen turns up in the middle of it , there will be some more data about the error. but i think one of ur hardware devices is broken. so i think its better to bring ur PC to the PC shop and let them look at it. coz i think ur having an serieus problem here.
well Good Luck m8, and hope that it doenst cost a lot of money

well ur in the same problem i had:)

when i had the blue screen aka Screen of Death
it tuned up just 3 month when i bought the computer...and what do u know...my graphic card burned

so take it to the shop to look at it...coz i think its a problem that u cant solve by urself
Good Luck

ps. u have ur guaranty? coz i had 1 year guaranty for any part that brakes down. so they will replace it free at no costs. and if u have a Guaranty bring it to the shop. example my Gefroce FX5500 broke down...i got a Geforce FX5700 as an replacement!

From http://www.hardwareanalysis.com/content/topic/37716/ : "Re: sysdata.xml and minidump errors.
It might be that after a while your system cannot read from the temp file. The file is usually located at: C:\documents and settings\[YOUR USER NAME]\ local settings\temp
Your user name is the name you sign into windows with. In windows explorer you may need to go to: Tools, folder options, view then select "show hidden files and folders" in order to see this folder.

What you could try to do is delete the folder and all of it's contents then reboot windows. The folder should be recreated, then see if the error is resolved. If not try right clicking the folder and then properties then uncheck "read only" , this setting will revert back to read only after a reboot but try the game with it unchecked. You should click on the advanced tab also and make sure the folder isn't encrypted or compressed."

Check this page, it seems to be a memory related error. But ABSOLUTELY don't talk about this if you bring your PC in the computer shop (i'm a computer technicians [right spelling?], trust me...), they must solve your problem in the best way they can (you PAY for the warranty). Just say: "My PC don't work. I see often a Blue Screen of Death and I must restart, loosing all the data."
Hope it helps.
