You are absolutly correct i have played WoW for about 1 month now and blizzard take great care of their customers they spend every possible second helping out their customers and making new patchs. The patches come out so fast compared to bf2 and guess what? no bugs its a very stable and fun game most people who are always dissing it most likely have never played it (as i did in my ignorant days)

MMO's are addictive, its why i left my GR clan back in the day was to switch to Star Wars Galaxies.
Well that and the clan was undecided on wether to play AA, R6: 3 (bastard child of the Rainbow series, they fucked it all up), or BF1942/V.
But I absolutely love MMO's, just not the time they require or the money spent. I had one of the single most powerful PvPers on my server (Tarq), I wasn't the best, but my character's items, skills, etc. gave me the needed handicap. After a while I noticed I was letting everything slip so I cancelled my subscription. It helps that SOE totally ruined the game.

In my experience most WoW players actually are like that and are addicted. I think South Park's summation was a fair one, but of course you're not going to catagorise all people like that. Also, did you notice that the peers of Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman were not addicts or fat and disgusting and they quit when it got boring. I think it was a fairly unbiased episode really, but it did illustrate what that game has done to quite a lot of people.
