I have seen a lot of dudes throw C4 and try to blow it up in your face. But today , there was this dude that was just chuckin them like friggin Joe Montana in the marines. One thing I DONT like is that if he is right in front of you and throws it and quickly blows it up, it will kill you, but 70% of the time he will talk away, same goes with tje "noob "tube". ANYHOW, is there a certain way that you can BIND this button to detinate the c4 quickly? I have this problem with throwing it, then right clicking, left clicking quickly and end up just switching back to my c4 baggies. I cant get it down that good at all, any tips?
i would've thought that a bind might result in a problem with punkbuster. i have to say, i can't do it either - i have tried - all i end up doing half the time is just dropping all the c4 like a trail leading away from my enemy, and then blow myself up. although there are heaps of good players around doing shit that we mere mortals can't, like flying attack choppers alone and managing to switch seats and use TV and cannon before it spins out of control (to many cries of 'hacker!'). in any case, this ability will cease to exist when the next patch comes out, as apparently you won't be able to jump and fire - and jumping seems to be how to majority of people do this

You shouldnt be praticing this cowardly act i can picture actually terrorists doing this but not normal people come on lol.

Same with me i tried it but when i throw it and try to quickly detonate it it switches back to c4

Exactly. It's a frowned apon practice, as it is an exploit. if someone was to detonate that much C4, it could probably take out those two unfinished buildings in Sharqui, but these guys somehow srvive when they're just over a metre away.

They should disable jumping when holding the c4 or where you can drop or throw the c4 just place when you're close to something like a wall or tank.
also increase the blast radius a bit.
I watched the final eps of Cowboy Bebob today it reminded me of Battlefield 2 when he was planting c4 on the walls then he lured the guys in and set em off haha.

as far as i can gather they are changing both the jumping & throwing, but also the blast radii of explosives - tho i could be wrong about the radii. i think there will be a minimum arming distance for teh t00b, so it stands to reason that they will deal with the c4 thing too.
tho given their track record for logic, i suppose we shouldn't hold our collective breath

Why bother to learn an explot that will be going away in the next patch???

Don’t need to bind any special buttons you don’t left click fast you only right click fast!
After you tossed the C4 you have to wait (blip) or you only get another C4 then right click to get the detonator up and now left click really fast!!
If a I got understood you, you want to know how to get the C4 to explode in midair and that’s done by being fast between left and right clicking sow after the you left clicked click again very fast on the right button!!!

Well lucky i got my expert explosives badge:P A tip on how to lob c4. Hold the fire for half a second, right click and BOOM!

The patch will address this exploit, but it also will really weaken the tactical usage of C4. My best example is how you are currently able to throw c4 over short walls when you jump. I've used that tactic many a time on the second flag of Sharqi. It isn't some timing trick to prevent a suidice, it is just putting the c4 on the other side of a wall. It was a bit of an amateur move by Dice to negate good tactics in order to eliminate exploits.bgthigfist wrote:
