I have this router but it has no Qos so when my family goes on youtube or runescape or whatever crap over wireless I get a ping of 300+ and to my fustration I am promptly kicked from the server. I plan to buy this router.
A - Will i see a rise in my normal ping of 20-29 because of Qos?
B - Is the router I plan to buy any good or has froogle fooled me?

i think its because its wireless. two of my friends have the same router except its not wireless and it works fine for them

Well my family need wireless for homework and browsing on laptops around the house. I can use Qos to dedicate bandwidth to my ip address.

Get wireless N

Doubled my wireless speed when I upgraded from a wireless g router to a wireless n router.
I average about 8000kb/s now on my laptop
Of course I rarely take it more than 50ft away from the router though...

I play bf2 on my pc connected to the router by a lan cable. fastest way. Does anybody understand what i originally asked? or is the concept of QOS lacking here? i am migrating to techspot now. thxxxxx
