Hi there,

I'm sure some of you are familiar with my infamous BF2 localization files (stickied in the BF2 section). I've taken it upon myself to modify the 2142 files! But, I'm not sure what some actions are worth. Please help! Karma will of course be given :

Destroying a Strategic Object = 1
Neutralize = 1
Silo Cap = 2
Heal = 1
Ammo = 1
Repair = 1
Revive = 1
Kill Assist = 0.5?
Repair = 1?
Neutralize Assist = 0.5?
Silo Cap Assist = 0.5?
Flag Cap = 2?
Targeting = ? **
Targeting Assist = ? **
Team Damage = ?
Team Kill = ?
Team Vehicle Damage = ?

Any I am missing? Please do check if these are correct.

Dont think there is something like 0,5 points for an action .....

ah yes, whenever you spot someone and then someone else kills them. I wonder how much that is worth. +1 for you.

I think there is.. but I'm not entirely sure. A kill assist isn't worth 0 and isn't worth 1 because a kill is worth 1.

edit// okay, this isn't so good. i tried to run 2142 and i get in and customize my kit, then i get kicked 'punkbuster' but no error message. so i think 'damn, i screwed up' so i put back the original localization files. and now i still get kicked from every server.

thoughts?

When it comes to kill assists you need 2 assists to achieve 1 point so technical i guess you can say it´s 0.5 points however your half points are not saved after a round.

And are there really any other actions that gives "0.5" points? mm cause i could almost swear that a neutralise assist gives you 1 point cant check for myself now, not at home.

Teamdamage depends how much you hurt your friend don´t have any 100% numbers but i beleive it´s between -1 and -2 you get. Teamkill -3 i think veichledamage -1? mostly i guess when i ram into someone at least.

They are saved during the round because I was once 1 point off a promotion and got a kill assist, my first one, worth '0.5' and got promoted.

Anyway, I'm re-installing 2142 in hope that this PB message will go away.
