best "what was he/she thinking" moments?

If you were expecting to read an amusing story now, I'll have to disappoint you. That's what I'm here for.

I'm currently in school and extremely bored, so please try to put a smile on a sad man's face.

The only thing close to what I mean is something that happened to me on Sharqi once:
I was in a firefight with an opposing MEC and ran out of bullets. He was too far away to precisely aim with the pistol (for me at least, im not very accurate with this thing), so i started reloading. Right at that moment he pulled out his knife and came running at me. Perfectly okay in a situation when you're close enough, but as I said, he was pretty far away. He wasn't even halfway there when I was done reloading, so I aimed at him and waited. I started wondering, "what is he thinking" and waited for a couple more seconds. He just kept running at me, so after another little while i thought "well, if that's what you want", tossed some rounds at him and moved on.

I know that's not a good one, but I just wanted to give you an impression of what situations I'm talking about.

So, please tell me something funny and make those remaining hours go by a little faster.

The barbed wire did't kill you, the impact from the fall did. You can walk on the barbed wire.

No, I opened my parachute before I hit the wire - it must be that hitting barbed wire causes damage at lower speeds....

The player model was left hanging by his foot from the top of the fence!!

yesterday i watched a jet slow down to nearly a standstill to bomb one of my buddies in an APC..while i sat there in an M1A2 watching..lol, so i figured id take a shot at him since he was dumb enough to go soooo slooowwww and got lucky, bullseye. one shell, a bullet or two from the machine gun and he was toast, first time ive gotten a jet with a tank

I was on the runway in a tank on Oman (as MEC!!) and the MEC Bomber (Stolen by a US player) came in to get me, he was flying straight towards me flat and level so I waited until I saw the white in his eyes and blew him to hell with my main gun.

lol, bet he didnt expect that. Nor did I for that Matter!

mine is when your taking a flag and one guys runs up to you with a pistol/Knife and i just open up on him with the MG36 the best part is the WTF reply when he doesnt see you in the corner lol

Sounds more like you were too close to the building when your chute opened and it caused it to close and make you fall again.

Believe what you want about the barbed wire, but I've parachuted on it, jumped on it, crawled on it, and all it does is make you scream in pain, no damage.

I was on Kirkland last night and was at the arch across from the hotel CP. Went to go one way and a tank was coming up to capture the hotel CP so I ran to the other end of the arch and another tank was coming down the street. Figured I was about to get dead between the 2 tanks. They both stoped and looked at me for about 5 seconds, then both fired. Both shots missed me but hit the other tank. Both got a TK and I ran to get the hotel CP back. It was a long 5 seconds standing there inbetween the two only for them to miss me and hit each other.

someone please explain to me what this guy was thinking: I was sniping on Ghost Town, and some guy joins my squad, and spawns on me. I deliberately don't lock squads if I create them as sniper, as I think that kinda sucks - your team should always have as many spawn points as possible, and if you spawn on a sniper, you have the good sense to move on quickly to not give me him away, yes? Common sense? So this guy spawns on me... and then prones in front of me, facing me, and aims at my face, and just sits there.

Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot.

I move, he moves with me. I run away and prone somewhere else, he runs over and does the same thing. I ask through squad Comm, "what the fuck are you doing?" He Ignores me and keeps doing it.

WHat the hell does this mean???!?!?

We did not recognize each other, and we both tried to take the flag, but nothing happened.
After about one minute I thought what the heck? I looked on my "teammate" , he looked at me, but he was quicker . He shot me down with his pistol.
It was funny laying next to each other, covering each other, and waiting to the damned flag to turn

If anyone walked over there what would've he/she thought?

funniest thing that happened to me is on kark"L"and once, i was Mec and battle just started, i was runnin round to the left rtillery base, to take out the arty, wen i saw 5 people runnin at me from over the hills, with their knives out. now me, if i see sum1 runnin at me with knife, i wont weakly shoot em down cos it just aint right, i like knife fights so iw as knife fighting 5 people and killed 3 b4 sum1 took me up the rear...

was jsut funny seeing five people runnin at me from with knives out from afar, at least i think so anyway...

ive had that too just smacktards out to annoy. place your claymores near and that fixes them but a tk does suck

Forgive me if this is a little off, but one of my personal low points was in the BFV upgrade for BF1942. There was a tripod mortar that you could pull out of somewhere and set up. Then you had to press "E" to enter it. I was Iwo Jima, near a cliff. The new mod had lots of beautiful grass a la BF Vietnam. I set my mortar up and then got turned around and lost it in the grass. When I found it the mortar was slowly sliding toward the cliff. In trying to catch it I slid down the cliff and landed at the bottom, and on the way down I could see the mortar tumbling along beside me. We both hit the bottom, and somehow I survived -- probably the friction breaking my fall. But since I was "out" of my mortar for so long, after a couple of moments it blew up beside me and ended my sad life.

Mine is'nt that funny, but they probably do wonder. I love taking a plane and using the bomber HUD take down a plane or chopper. They are flying along then all of a sudden their health bar goes to zero.

i do that when i'm bored. i swear that once i hit a heavily smoking heli trying to go back to base with my sidearm, and i got the kill when it exploded. i think it was one of those 'it was gonna blow up anyway, but i hit it last' things.

One time i was flying an su-34 on gulf of oman. I went right through an artillary strike, I was flying fairly high but an artillary shell hit me! I was so suprised! One second I am flying along, next second an artillary shell put a hole through my plane. Anyone else ever had this happen to them before?
