Ive just had this message come up on new PC

pretty shite as i have done nothing to corrupt it

i came of bf2 last night and closed down the system

turn it on and it says that now and doesn't even boot

(I'm on another comp BTW if anyone asks how I'm typing this)

question is

is the HDD fooked

or shud i just reinstall XP on a new partition


or someone else wonder full recommendation

atm i couldn't care if you told me i needed to hit it with a hammer..

Check if all the cables are correctly inserted.
It happened to me once.

Make sure your cables are all plugged in.  Something may have been jarred.  Also, make sure the inside of your comp isn't getting too hot.

Sounds like the HDD's died, or something has happened to corrupt the OS.

Attempt a reinstall, but as said before, check cables first, in case one is loose or something.

Turn off powersupply switch and try again. Happened to me before and that's how I fixed it.

ive come to the conclusion thats its died after 2 weeks of having it

BIOS does not detect the HDD

i treid 6 SATA slots on mobo with a differant cable to no avail

a reformat it doesnt even detect the HDD it says make shure a HDD is connected

ohh well another great drive from Seagate

looks like its gonna be Western Digital this time.
