I was looking for a quote and its author which went somewhere along the lines of (this is what i think the quote is)----->"history is written by the victorious". I searched on google and even this site, but, alas, nothing.

Help would receive some monetary reward (ok just kidding maybe some karma)

There rewritten, happy?
