I just checked (only 3 people on it) and I got 140 - which is playable but I prefer to play < 100.

Anyways for the UK and Europe your 'Saturday Night' game would be a 'Middle of the Night' game for us.

We are hoping to get the server alive again tonight!

We managed well last night and the server had players in it up till 3 a.m (Maybe later, but thats when I left) Check this thread again for a live update on the server, we welcome all to come. And the maps can change every round. If you are interested in playing but the server isn't full, just sit idle on the server and go do something else for a bit, that mgiht help filling it up!

Last night we had 32+ people around 10 p.m Central U.S time. That might be the time to play? Team play and fair play will be the focus of the game.

Prolly i will check it.Once i did play on a bf2s.com server and the pplw ho were there didnt respond on my "hello everyone" they just tk-ed me a few times coz it was 4/32 ppl

I would play but 10PM CET is about 3AM over here and im normally drunk by then....also the fact that i have 100+ ping kinda makes me worse,maybe the EU server though.

Probably, they didn't see your chat ...

But, as far as the TKing, it is often quite boring to hang out on the server before the official game starts, so, to pass the time, you might see a lot of behavior that wouldn't happen in a game with these guys:

1) Sometimes it is a big knifing party or shock paddle party, with lots of medics reviving. It improves skills ... you might actually find yourself getting kidnapped.

2) Sometimes groups of guys will line up vods or jetskis and have races

3) Guys will play "chicken" with vehicles or jets

etc.

The server is in TX, so your ping should be below 80. I get about 70-80 there from MA and RI. But on other TX servers I get 55-60.

I ping 5 sometimes.

About pre-game shenanigans, it is all in good fun. Once the game starts everyon will get serious, (or mostly) nothing done before the game starts should be taken seriously.

Well no posts this whole evening...I guess nobody really cares.

If we only had 8 or so people dedicated to being on the server more and more would join. There are a lot of people playing Saturdays, but no one will join a game with zero people...

I might put together a list of people who can dedicate playing on the server just to get it going. Anybody want to be the first to volunteer?

Ditto...about playing on Vanilla...SF didn't ever quite work for me. I think I struggle too much with the night vision thing...I'm colorblind.

There was another thread about asking for US BF2s dedicated squaders, I guess that one pooped out.

It looks like I will have the next couple of Saturdays free even tonight I'll jump on the server as soon as I get my bf2 cd in the PC.
