Or superglue micro machines to a record player.
Those might be more entertaining than NASCAR.

If you want to see a real race go to the Indy 500.
Buy a $10 ticket, sit on the hillside (with all the drunks) and watch the cars go by.

Actually two years ago, I was on turn three when the drunks spelled out Danica in the fence out of beer cans.  What was it, 3 cans wide, 15 cans high for 8 letters/numbers.  (and all that happened before the race started.

The Indy 500 is a real race!

Lol Mob_Returns! 3 Cans Wide ;P

I was so sad for Kyle Busch. He was a complete and reckless driver from 5th to 2nd on the last few laps, but I'm still not sure if it was Kyle's fault in that final lap crash. Well done to Harvick, coming up from below the top 5 to winning it by two hundredths of a second!

So much more exciting that F1. California next

It's not a circle.

Based on the over-simplification you posted above, either you have never watched NASCAR or you haven't watched it in a long time.  Just like the NFL, NASCAR now has a much larger variety of camera angles, which puts you closer to the action than ever before.  If you think cars going 180+ is boring, you need an adrenaline shot.

Desertfox is right, it's a tri-oval, not a circle.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tri-ovaln

Yes, but Formula 1 has all sorts of bends, and THAT is boring as fuck, as well.

I've taken to watching superbikes, lately. At least they go flying off at odd angles occasionally or do interesting things.
Or the british touring car championship, because it's funny to watch chavved-out executive cars driven like dodgems.
