tried them out yesterday. I heard that the smoke dissapates quickly, but I thought that it would stick around for more than 1 second. The smoke dissipated almost instantly, providing no cover whatsoever. Is there a fix for this? Or has anybody heard if they are going to fix it?

It's used for quick assaults. It will disappear quickly, always. As soon as you throw it, let it puff up for a second and then sprint through.

Or just leave them to garage and take the rockets with you, they are lot better anyways.
This guy's got the idea here. Smoke grenades are useless in 2142. Take the defib and rockets instead.NooBesT[FiN] wrote:

yea, I tried out the rockets during the free unlock weekend and they are awesome. Just need to practice on the detonate distance thing though.
