BF2S Forums To many processes

Aol uses entirely too many resources. They may have a light version if I am not mistaken. In any since if you can get a hold of a program called Wintask Pro grab it. It will tell you what the process does and if you can shut it down when you click on it. It also has presets which you can set with a single click of a button. Like a "gaming" mode.

run msconfig and  go to startup and disable all, you don't need anything critical that's is starting up there, and stuff that is critical will start up anyway

i know all about turning off at start up, since windows 95, i meant all those running process,i reconize most but theres alot since new install,oh o well,
