Im planning a new build and am looking at some cases...

Please note i have no idea what im talking about when it comes to cases, so atm im purely going on "prettyness".

The choices are...

1. Cooler Master Stacker 830 Evo (Black)
http://www.coolermaster.com/index.php?L … 0830%20Evo

2. NZXT Lexa
http://www.nzxt.com/products/lexa/

3. NZXT Zero
http://www.nzxt.com/products/zero/

Can anyone tell me about the airflow of these cases? They are all the "right size" right? Any experience of them personally?

Thanks

I like Lian Li's 1000's.

Ive heard a lot about these. What makes them so 1337? To me they look kinda boring / ugly.

Can't believe how much I've had to explain this to people, but their air flow and heat distribution is massively efficient. If you think they're boring looking, stick a couple of cold cathodes in there and light will pour out of the holes in the front.

Do you want flash, or do you want function? The 1000's aren't absolutely necessary, but they're great stuff.

If you get the Cooler Master, watch that you don't dent it.

I own the Lian Li V1000 Plus and i've no complaints. The internal layout is extremely well thought out and i've no complaints cooling wise.

I'll also add that a while ago (few years now) I built a 1.3TB fileserver using the V2000 case and recently built a replacement 3.4TB fileserver using the V2100 Plus 2 although oddly the one I bought didn't include that front door thing. I'd only recommend the 2x00 series if you're building a fileserver (in otherwords anything that requires more than six 3.5" slots) otherwise stick to the 1x00 series.

All but the latest cooler-master cases are pretty cruddy build quality and design.

I'm surprised you didn't have one in your selection process.

Yeh well im kinda new in the pc case field and tbh i dont think Lians look too good - cant really see what all the fuss is about.

Is there a noticeable difference in quality / airflow / design  / space between the CM and the Lian? Because if not i think ill go with the Cooler Master...
