Bill Watterson is a genious. Ironic how many Calvin pissing on (insert here) stickers you see, considering how anti-commercialization he was. Same goes for the Calvin kneeling one.

I actually have all the C&H books that were realeased. (Aside from the Treasury's, don't need those since i have the regular ones!) I was sad that Watterson stopped making the strip, and it was around the same time Larson stopped making The Far Side... it began a dark period for comics.

Yep, basically. That is one of the great things about Bill Watterson, he appeals universally. You guys should try to find some other articles or writings about/by him, he really is super intelligent and philisophical.

When I first started reading Calvin and Hobbes, I just read them as any comic and looked mainly at the pictures. But starting from about 4 years ago, I've been getting some different meaning out of it, it's truly amazing.
