Would it be completely noobish and whorish of me to try and get my stat's reset in order to reflect my stat's post removal of GeForce 5200 / 512 megs of ram?

Just wondered what you all think.

You'd probebly just be wasting your time. Just start a new account if it's that important to you.

Just continue on with your original account..  I had to make a new one 15k points in because I didn't realize there was a second tier of unlocks @@.

Stick to it, I brought my k/d ratio up from 1.03 to 1.85 from my newb/bad computer days.

Ehr, what? Why did you have to make a new one then?
The unlocks are retroactive once you play a SF for 1sec on a ranked server.

quit crying. your stats are fine right now. its not going to change all that much as far as hardware is concerned. really the only thing that gives a significant stats change is getting better.

you have no idea how much a computer's preformance can affect how well you play, obviously.

jee, thanks for being a dumbass.

radeon 9550, 1 gb generic ram, athlon 64 3000+ for just under 500 hours of BF2.

following that, i now have a 7900GS, 2 gigs of OCZ, and a 4200+ x2. have i seen a jump in trends? yes. a big one? no, not really, especially when compared to when i found my "Groove," so to speak.

it certainly can make a difference, but not going from right around the minimum to a decent rig.

its not like he was trying to play on a 386 or something.

by the way, i fixed your spelling error, and i'm curious - does computer "preformance" have any effect on one's typographic or spelling skills?

Reset it if you want to....Play K&P and then report yourself but meh, I wouldn't bother about stats.

Yeah, but getting 16fps on urban maps sucks. And I am pretty decent. (look at history 4 k/d ratio). I play CAL and all that.

ahem, i guess my post came out harsher than i imagined. Yes, i suppose you are correct, a new computer would not have a HUGE effect on your stats, but whenever i crash my jet due to my computer, or end up turning my back to that enemy MEC guy when i lag out, it feels like my ability could be better, and i bet thats how capitan feels.

remember, playing with 1 gb of ram and a decent video card is different from 512 and a terrible card, trust me. i have played on my friend's comp, whos is nearly identical to el capitan's old one, and it is a huge disadvantage in combat. when you fly down to a runway, you have to be careful not to come in too steep or youll lag out and hit the ground. every round you join, you get lag for the first 5 minutes. every day you play, expect to get disconnected or CTD at least once. blah blah blah, i just identify with him because despite the fact i have a great computer, i still get weird laggy stuff all the time, which pisses me the fuck off.

oh, and i will try harder to spell all my words right on next weeks spelling test, teacher. ;D

I'm running an X300 and 512mb or RAM......

Lowest settings, 800 x 600, full DD and it goes 25 fps on IO maps.
Trying to fly an aircraft is like a slideshow.

You need to be pretty frucking good to have good stats on a crud computer.
