A few years ago when I was working a lot of OT at the office I was accused of staying late so I could log on everyone's PCs so I could read their AOL IM histories. It went pretty far up my management chain, I had to get someone from IT to back me up that it is impossible to read someones chat history as it is not kept on their PCs, that it would pretty much take a Federal Warrant to get that info from AOL.
Due to their ignorance, I was not allowed to stay late unless anyone else was here to witness what I was doing.
Fortunately all of those idiots have been sacked so it's a dead issue now.

Once when i was about 13, I went to a camping school trip. It was three days long, on the last night i caught a bad flu and had a very high fever. So I was sent home. When i came back to school off of my sick leave, poeple continued to ask me " Do you have fungus?, Do you have fungus?" and it was so annoying...
When I moved from Turku 1998, I did the army for one year and after that almost a year went by before I showed my face in Turku in some bigger event.
When I finally did that 2002 during the spring when we were celebrating the 1st of may I walked up to a place where people familiar to me use to gather.
The first thing that happens is that a girl I know runs and hugs me like hell and is like.
"Kasper, You are alive!!! Thank god!!!"
I was like " WTF!!?"
This went on for an hour at least, and nobody knew who had put the rumor going that I was dead, neither did anyone knew how I had died...
But that made me realize how easily people buy stuff they hear...
I was pretty pissed about the whole thing but I have never got that much attention and hugs n´kisses from girls in one day...

And there is more.

When I was in high school all my wonderful friends told everyone I had AIDS (the same friends that put my picture on a gay dating website) because I never went to school & lost like 20 lbs. (drugs will do that to you) so was real skinny.
