Do you have that slimy feel on the surfaces of your teeth?
I had braces a long time ago. Not the little white ones or the smaller versions they have today, but the big metal ugly fuckers! Man I hated them so much. Felt great to get them off though. I never did use the retainer they gave me to wear after having them off. Made me gag every time I put it in. The taste of chemicals still haunts my soul.

I was expecting a Pollux thread with that title, somehow. Never had braces myself even though my teeth are as crooked as Dick Cheney. I say fuckit, I'll just not smile in pictures.

i had on mine for 11 months and my teeth are nice n straight. the brackets and wires were gold too. just color not real. the first 4-5 days is a living hell. but i always kept them clean so it wanst a biggie. getting them off is just makes you look twice as good
I actually know only one person that had braces, it isn't so regular around here... (That doesn't mean we have bad teeth)

Yeah Browny, I got a permanent wire on the frontal teeth on the lower row. It's not too bad. And yeah I'm wearing my retainer when I need to, so far it's 24/7 if im not eating or drinking =/ orthodontist said that hopefully I can scale that down to only at night
