fuken hell it looked much faster then that NOW THAT IS HAULING ASS IN THE HIGHEST DEGREEThe#1Spot wrote:
def not a quick change of wind would make the effect of someone shooting at the ground and theres too much drag to achieve that speed where air is most dense. 400-600 would be more logicallt603668 wrote:
Omfg That Jet Was Going Like 2000 !!! Watch Again!
The A-10 was purposely held low for effect.
He was off the ground way earlier on the runway and normally would have kept the nose at 25 degrees (give or take). He would have been at least 200-250 ft higher at the same point.
What type of plane was the second video? A Tornado? Now THAT'S low.

A good show:

I know it's not nearly as exciting but:
A few years ago I camped a few nights near Little Rock, AR. Little Rock has an air force base that is the home of the C-130s. Anyway. Where I camped must have been directly on their flight route. Two nights they literally buzzed the tree tops straight over me (about 100 ft). This is a training they do called 'map of the earth'. Still pretty cool to be able to be in the middle of nowhere and the planes are so close the pilots wave at you.

Ugh, flashbacks of playing Proj Reality as insurgent and being scared shitless of the A10...

this is weird, we are not supposed to hear a sound before it pass over the guy. And if it was moving under the speed of sound, we should have heared its sound just a little bit before it pass over the guy, but not that early in the video...iNeedUrFace4Soup wrote:
I think what was being heard was the air intake.-=raska=- wrote:

That and I don't think any pilot is crazy enough to go super sonic that close to the ground.thareaper254 wrote:

The air intake sound comes from the airplane anway so its not the reason imo, but yeah I watched it again and its not moving supersonic I think...
You'll know it's not going super sonic until you hear a big BOOM and see a flair of smoke.-=raska=- wrote:

I know this, thats why I found the video a bit weird.. (in fact I was suspecting the video to be fake lol)thareaper254 wrote:
