I always hear about how easy it is to whorein the chopper on mashturr city, but never tried it. Untill last night.

I was Support, and rushed to the black hawn like anyone else. I Got to be pilot. "Cool" I though, I'm a decent pilot, so this should be fun.

THe chopper was full of medics and engineers, and I was always holding the chopper dead still in mid air, about 150 feet from the MEC flags... and the kills assist just kept coming!

Also, I got resupply points becuase everyone kept throwing nades out the chopper

And the driver points, for the repair and heals as well...

So, after about 15 min of constant play, I didn't look at the scoreboard at all, and at the end, a few tickets left, we got shot down for the 1st time and then i was stunned!

I got 180 teampoints in less than 15 min... OMFG Unbeliavable!

Now I'm gonna do this untill EA fixes it (or not, i dont care)

BTW, anyone know any Mashtuur 24x7 servers?

btw, FMG has a Mashtur 95% of the rounds, i think every 50 it switches to sharqi for maybe 2 rounds, then back to mashtur..

Yeah FullMetalGaming has a 24/7 Mashtuur City and Karkand (2 separate servers). Go to www.fullmetalgaming.com for more info. I wouldn't recommend these serers for you however because the MEC chopper constantly hovers over the USMC blackhawk tossing C4 out the back and exploding it. Heli ramming is not permitted on this server and you will be banned for doing so. Anything else I forgot...oh yeah and there are constantly people like me in humvees and vodniks shooting down and owning the other teams choppers. I was #2-4 highest on my team after the round ended (never being a heli whore) and the highest had maybe 70 if he was lucky. Any pilot with no skill will be absolutely shredded on this server (many times in the round I might add), and as you stated that you hovered racking up points I would not expect you to last too long.

Damn he said it before me. No it IS Mashtuur City 24/7. I have NEVER seen it otherwise and I have 150 hours or so on this server.

A good pilot does not get shot down. I constantly kept a distance from teh flags and the enemy, just close the the minigunner could see them. Circle around and let him do his work, simple as that!

U do not get shot down that way!

My first Black Hawk raping was my best. I had 50 Kills and 39 Teamworkpoints and 1 death. I liked it in first place and wanted to play Mashpotatoe City over and over again. So I played on a Mashtuur 24/7.
The guys who play MEC on it are like pros in stopping the BH.
Since then I only play it in normal map cycle. Sometimes I get in the BH but most of the time I try to capture the South Gas Station with MEC to stop the legal stats padding machine.

i never go for the flags when piloting the BH

yeah thats pretty dangerous if you go against a good team. when i fly i keep it moving as fast as it can go to make sure that its a lot harder to get hit by ATs. good thing i've got some friends that are good gunners.

I Was doing that last night until some moron kept teamkilling me to get into the GUnner seat. I was doing pretty well. But his buddy was flying and he kept asking guys in the helo to hop out. I said no because I wanted a go at it. Well he teamed killed me Three times for the same spot in the helo. So, if you are base rapping with the BH and youi See mcgrath20 or mcgrath420 get out and come right infront of you SHOT him right away because he will teamkill you for the spot on the minigun. I did have a blast though when I had the chance.

64 man Songhua Stalemate about 2 days ago, I tried out the ol' commander position. Good thing I did, as there were 6 people whoring it up in a blackhawk. Guy flying was support and ended up with 349 points, one gunner had 196 and the other had like 80 some.....I ended up with a score of around 200!

You can't really avoid 2-3 Vodnik's concentrated fire can you Especially when you get your gunners/engineers shot out. Was up against a really good SEVEN squad just the day before, they had the perfect answer to my Blackhawk. Vodniks well spread out + AT guys peppering me. My squad and I were caught bad in the crossfire.

Map Cycle = the maps running on a server
Map Cycle != capturing flags

I got 231 points that way on mashtuur lol.. but that was pre 1.03 patch so then u also got capture assist points..
