hey guys i was just floating about the web building a new pc for myself, i dont realy need one but i like to price up new ones for myself and see how much it comes to.  anyway, here are the specs of my "could be" new computer

Asus M2N-SLi Deluxe (Socket AM2) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

Ive priced this at £1143

i have 2x 36gb raptors in my current rig which i will keep

anyone in the UK could you give me a a rough idea how much i could get for my current rig

I class Maxtor hard drives as "removable storage" due to the number of Maxtor drives I've had to replace. If you're one of those weirdos that likes to spend their free time installing operating systems then I'd recommend them to you.

Sorry I can't comment on the price since it seems to vary a lot depending on where you are (and not in line with exchange rates either...).

Second hand stuff loses value fast.

I can't say I think much of your new rig for the price. Go C2D, even if you only went for a 6300 you'd still get better performance - also an 850W PSU is overkill for a GTS SLI setup.

Nice computer.  If you are getting an OEM processor, you will need to buy a fan separate.  I would suggest a Zalman.
