This may sound wierd but sometimes in the past when i use to play BF2 alot, i'd come back home from a day or night out and not actually really want to kill anyone of BF2, or if i did i wouldn't want to be running around like a mad man trying to chase down every player and get every flag instead i'd want a nice relaxing game.

My first is jus taking a blackhawk and finding a full squad, then without joining the squad become their transport, simply landing by them once they have taken a flag and take them to the next. Strangly satisfying as well doing that, especially if your contribution is making the team win.

My other one is simply joining a map with a buddy, take out a sniper rifle, finding a good spot and just stay their the entire round (if possible) sniping and chatting over teamspeak. (its quite a surreal experience when you can be talking about what you are having for dinner whilst trying to shoot people in the head)

I used to like hopping in the back of every blackhawk taking off and sit there repairing, while getting a few kill assists. The friendliest thing I do now is medicate, otherwise I just kill.

Pretty much just the sniping thing. Normally im a close range sniper, but when i get angry at the game, i just put some music on, sit 500 m away from the battle mind my own and have a talk on TS

If im tired of nade spam in IO and jet whoring in general, my idea of leisure is playing 64 player jalalabad as MEC and spend the entire round jihad jeeping down past lake, and coming from behind the USMC outpost and annoy the hell out of the us tank drivers. I may not get more than 30 points in a round but it NEVER gets old, and the insults from the other teams tank whores are why i like bf2 so much

Lol, I know what you mean. Although some of my most leisurely things in-game have been when the moment is thrust upon me, rather than me choosing when and where.

For example a few days ago I was on Wake, and the J-10s were doing their regular rounds of bombing the carrier, rearming, and doing it again etc. So the guys left at the airfield, including me, found transport vehicles or called them in from the commander, and we spent the round driving in circles beeping our horns. We even had an impromptu race course around the buildings at one point. Also Friendly Fire was off, so we could drive into each other and over our teammates without worrying about tk's.

It was great, because after a minute or so of it I almost didn't want to have to defend the airfield.

nowadays.. engineer on infantry only to add some challange, i played a round tonight using only pistol and knife, trying not to die once.
i want to try to set up a game where you only get one death,no revives, and see how that changes gameplay.
the ocasional race with a buggy or atv, and racing the jet skis around the river on ghosttown.

Usually I just go to single player and fly around by myself.

Can be fun killing bots or just doing some stunts.

That must've been you I blew up with c4 once you all got back into the BH.

I enjoy playing as a squadleader and flanking flags on foot, sneaking behind tanks and being a mobile spawnpoint, popping smoke, laying supressing fire, challenging snipers whilst armed with an assault rife.

I like mounting the MG at any T-90 / Abrams and scoring multiple kills, also challenging snipers while at it, they can't do much else than wait to be hit when supressed by a 50.cal.

-I haven't played BF2 for a long time, since I've been more disgusted by the daily news from Iraq.

Camping at a back base in Karkand, blowing up the commander's assets as he keeps dropping supply crates. I got 16 points from doing that one game.

Finding and supply-dropping enemy commanders.

Finding really obscure, out of the way hiding places on maps while being commander.

Probally sniping or sitting on some machine gun somewhere.

I do find chopper flying relaxing,as i'm aiming up someone else and not need to bother to shoot unless of course they miss.

But sniping and toking at the same time is great.Find a nice place pitch the tent and get the bong out.. great fun.
