So i have a temporary problem and it goes to Bf2.Since summer my father installed a rooter so the internet is shared and other 2 pc got access aswell.
Since this happed i realized that i lose my connection if i play Bf2 mostly after every 10 minutes.
I get into a server and after 10 minutes "There is a problem with your connection" and it loads up the main menu and i got "The connection to the server has been lost" if i connect back i get the same after 10 sometimes 5 minutes.
The best is that sometimes i can play for 2-3 hours without having this issues and i just dontknow what could cause this problem.I also tried to reboot my PC and reboot the rooter but it didnt help.

As i said it happens temporary and its like i loose my internetconnection and i connects me back its like cahnging IP or dunno coz if im on Team Speak i dont lose connection to that one.Its like only for 5 secs then i got it back again and that 5 secs are enough that it drops me from xfire and gameserver.
And it counts as a suicide if im right because its like i disconnect during the game.

Please if you have any idea post it !
I really need help !

Thx

This could happen if there are people doing internet intensive stuff while you are playing.

So you mean it happens when other 2 people are using internet too ?
Well sometimes my sister is using her laptop while im playing but i dont got high ping or lag at all.
Even if im the only one who is using PC and Internet at home so something different must be the problem.
I want help

first thing you need to do is get rid of that "rooter" and get a router
seriously though, what kind of router and/or wireless(?) card do you have?
i had the same issues, and found a solution.
with my linksys stuff, there is a setup page for the router......when i open it i can forward ports and change a bunch of the settings so that i dont get that (as often).
try looking in the manual of your router to see what the ip is for setup. try that, and if you have any questions post.

turn off the firewall on the router or open up the required ports

id do the ports as turning the firewall off can be dangerous.
