Ok, my favorite server is full, so I just pull up all ranked servers currently playing karkand and jump into one. I spawn as a medic and the game goes the way my games normally do, but i never seem to get revived. It's a 24 person game, even teams, so I check the teams and this is what I see:

4 Spec-Ops
2 Supports
3 Anti-Tanks
2 Assualt
1 Medic (Me)

I thought 1 word: "Jackpot" I racked up so many heal and revive points, i averaged 85 points a game. Then the server switched to Sharqi and I hate that map. But still stuck it out. my overrall day in that server:

10 Rounds palyed on karkand

1 Got my basic knife badge

1 Got my first defibulator kill

Got 100 + 4 games

Got 85+ 9 games

Got around 40 1 game (Due to me attempts at getting the knife badge)

Overrall Satisfaction Level :Very, Very High

Most of the idiot medics dont even revive people and just walk right by you , its all about the G36E.

Either that or they are going to kill the guy quick with their G36E and then come back to you.  I revive people unless there is a good reason not too, meaning that there are enemie around.

Medic was the class I played the most but in my quest to get the all the expert badges I have to play the other classes.  I will say this from my time as a medic.  I think someone must have told my team that the medic packs contain c4 because the wounded always seem to be running away from the medics.

Well was 2 points away from a ribbon even though I was on a 64player server and the map was karkand. Now I'm gonna play as medic for a long time and some people say that medic are useless, well what's worse than having the people you kill no wait wound revived over and over again untill you die?

But most of the time I play there are always medics, few of them. Reason why most people run away is because they think you are not a medic. Your little medic icon doesn't always show up so you can be regular guy. The new medic gun is awesome too, so good.

medics worthless? medics can do a ton for the team. they keep people alive, plus with the guns, they own infantry battles.

This post sums it all up for me . I've only just started to play medic on a regular basis, if I'm running and someone shout smedic, I'm quick enough to be able to asses the situation before diving in to revive. If there's too much going on around me, I won't revive, why give the enemy two kills for the price of one.

But {glg20}fitzhume is dead right here..... why are people running away with a single health bar left when there's a medic not ten feet away from them... they must know that one shot from a bb gun will put them down, yet they still run as far and as fast away from a medic as they possibly can... doesn't make any sense.

I play Medic mostly and frankly i don't even look twice before wading in. It seems to me most people have been 'killed' because the enemy did it, so chances are they are around somewhere. A medic's job is to support his combat troops, not be a shootist who happens to have a first aid kit. Move quickly, heal and move on, unles the guy keeps getting whacked as soon as you heal him - he's not going to appreciate being revived in death alley and probably wants to spawn somewhere in safety.

1. GL using Assault kits/and a lot of Spec Ops throwing C4
2. Medic rampage....(i dont get it i see first no medic in the game....but when i think i can go for a First Aid award...HOLY SHIT MEDIC RAMPAGE HOW THE FUCK! THEY RED MY MIND OMFGROFL!!!)

This is a game, but in real world - you are WRONG!! They did during 2nd world war, but not today...

yeah too many times i am on a level with many, many, many medics and none of them seem to know what their kits is used for.

think they just like the guns and dont realise that they can HEAL or REVIVE someone in dire need!

i have more team kills than i would like to have in my profile, but half of these are not through accident. most of them have come through frustration after standing next to a medic asking for some health then getting shot and not being revived. there is no danger for ages so they medic could have given me some health but NO he doesnt know what he is doing or just doesnt notice that it is the guy standing next to him, who is staring him right in the face, who needs help.

so once i respawn i find the guy and then a quick shot to the head usually chills me out. also the guy is going to wonder why i walked up to him and took him out. maybe he will put one and one together and get something around 2

I play medic alot now on the battlefield - it's a great class to work on your team work and force you to rely on your assault rifle.
What you should learn is that relying on others is a chore - rely on yourself
If you want to revive others - they will learn the value of your services when they die later alone without medics
The l85 is a tempermental beast though - one minute kill machine the next a one shot miss-aholic!

Wouldn't it be cool if the game is a little bit more realistic.
As a medic you chan choose if you want a gun or not.
If you don't carry a gun your alter ego has a larger red cross/crescent and when the enemy shoots you, he gets -100 points for breaking the Geneva Conventions

Lol i think you need a differnet game
Armed Assault should sort that - being a medic there will be getting in, stabilising a wounded soldier and getting him the hell out of there
realism you can shake a stick at!

I'm talking about the game. Don't worry, I know real medics aren't quite so respawnable...

Even if someone has only one health bar left, if they do not request a medic, they will not see the Red Crosses on the mini map or over the heads of our healing brethren.  I believe this is what happens and why people run away from medics and support crews.

That may be true for some. I was playing as medic awhile ago and we were in a firefight. A wounded team mate was across the road from me, but it wasn't safe to cross. I was shooting at the enemy (the teammate was still alive - maybe 1/3 health left). The next thing I know, he TKs me cuz I didn't get to him as fast as he wanted...  The enemy didn't take him out (thanks to our combined efforts, but he sure as hell didn't get any health from me either!

Yea. Now that everyone has ranked up, no one bothers playing Medic. I've played entire rounds of Karkand with no friendly Medics - which is to say nothing of any other map.

far too many play the spec ops class which is in itself a very weak class
more should play medic and support
