Less than 1500$ USC
I got the following rig:
AMD Athlon 3800+
2 gig PC6400 GEIL RAM
430 PSU
7600GT
K9N Sli mobo
200GB HD
Total cost: Around 700 euro's. This rigs plays BF2 maxed out with 60-70 FPS
And BF 2142 all on high with 2x AA on 50 FPS
So its not the best rig but its capable of playing games with decent quality and performance.
EDIT: I just saw your budget.
A clanmember of mine got AMD Athlon x2 5000+
Same mobo as me
2 gig of RAM
7950GTX m512mb
And offcourse somemore things, but he said the total costs of his machine was 1500 euro's.
So I guess if you choose something between my and his rig that you will have a decent rig to play with.
