Well, I have a file transfer thing that I'm planning on buying from Belkin to transfer my games from this PC to my new PC, but I'm wondering...will it successfully let me fully transfer games like BF2? Any help would be appreciated.

Said product: http://www.belkin.com/easytransfercable/

Thanks,

No, it won't. It would physically move all said files just fine, but you would have a fresh registry so the game wouldn't actually work, you would need to install it again. You could use it to copy any localization files over though.

LMAO.. that "transfer cable" is a standard USB cord (with a pretty light in the middle) which you can buy at any decent retail store for $10.  Is Belkin serious?! LOL

Uh, why not just use an ethernet?

As above...

Use Ethernet for a start. And no, it wont work -- unless you transfer all registry values across too, as well as config, (My Documents/Battlefield 2/), files.
