Hey guys...

Im wondering with my current rig specs and my internet connection...the loading speed of maps in every server shld be fast...but for some reason it has become very slow. Is it the same for everybody or is it juz me?

Here's my rig specs
AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Newcastle @ 2.44ghz (OC-ed & Watercooled)
4x 512mb DDR400 Ram (Total 2gb)
BF2 installed on 160GB 7200RPM SATA HDD Seagate
Sony 8x DVD-RW DL
Sapphire ATI Radeon X800XTPE AGP

Its like taking ages to load the map...5mins...and its pissing me off...can someone tell me y? or help me list out any possibilites of the cause? Thanks

Got the same prob, I have redused the game settings. Now I have less lag but the loading time diden t change.
Make sure you did not check a lan connection at options.

i have 750 RAM and it loads in 1 minute when in medium settings
and i have 4CPU 3.2 processor

onlything that i could think of was full hard drive?   i gots the same processor, LESS ram, 6800gt card, 80gd hard drive! an it runs gr8 for me
