So I was wondering if any of you guys are in to UE..And if so what gear you bring along and any sweet websites...
Looks interesting, I'm a traceur and well I tend to stick to the known
The unknown will scare the shit out of you in a good way;)
What is this, a new sport?
Like going to Walmart and exploring the linens or what.

Poking around places you ain't meant to go, like storm drains, the back of hospitals, subways, etc.
I would do this, but I'm to attatched to the more conventional style of exploring, usually via cycling.

Hes talking about going in huge city storm drains, sewers, abandoned buildings, etc.... Places most people dont go.
Edit: yes, some people that UE do indeed actually do enjoy wading around in human waste. Not exactly my bag but whatever floats your boat i guess.
For example they like exploring the old brick sewers in big cities or something.

Theres loads of old MoD buildings in Fife, including the "not-so-secret-secret bunker"
You would be suprised how popular it is. I know you wouldnt catch me doing it. Also i know how dangerous it is because i know how large sewer systems work.Magpie wrote:

I used to do it when I was younger. I didn't realize it was called anything, I was just curious about what was in those big drains.
Sounds like Darwinism on display to me.
I'm about ready to convert to Islam and wage a Holy War on America this is so fucking lame.

I do it when I can, old hospitals, mills, you name it.
The only NZ location listed on www.uer.ca was put there by me. I had a few others, but a whole bunch got wiped for some reason.

Never knew this had a name. But I love to go "urban" exploring. There are a bunch of abandon military bases and stuff around where I live. Never went in the sewer though. The subway tunnels are way too scary for me to go lurking in.

Abandoned warehouses kick ass! we found a shipping container full of Asian porn and sex toys, we couldnt get over it, Then we sort of just used the warehouse for a skate park until oneday we went there after school and it had police tape around it, and 3 patrol cars were parked out front, havnt been there since!, theres usually some pretty cool stuff arond the back of our malls and stuff
Well I guess that it might be fun looking in old factories for "free" stuff.......Mmmmm....Stuff..
No offense to anyone. had a guy on the work some weeks ago and he was into urban exploring.. we all laughed so hard we was litterally lying on the floor. but we are all different.
I am not allowed in the subway system in DC because my cousin and myself walked the tracks when our train died. So DC Metro won't let us anymore.
better than waiting in a 6 mile long tunnel 1/2 way to Arlington at night. Bastards didnt even catch us until we were at Union station.Drunken_Tankdriver wrote:
