It looks like a sandcastle.
Probably "Global Warming".
I have a 7800gt and I've never seen this so I doubt it's gfx card related.
My 8800 does it as well. Brand new setup and cooling is great (no time for dust build up either ).

I have had the "sandbag bug" since I started playing the game 1.5 years ago. The sandbags are the only thing that does that to me and it only happens like 1/4 of the time.. I usually notice it on Surge. I have a 7800 GTX and like others thought , I thought it may be a overheated garphics c ard... but its not. Not for me anyways, when I first learned how to check the card's temp the first thing I did was check the temp when the bug happened. Everytime the card was at a temp no where near hot enough to be overheating... Just a random bug i guess.
They replaced the sandbags with new liquid forcefields. They don't help either
Yeah I get it too, using an x800gt... happens about once in every 100 games... and looks pretty awesome too if you get the 'stargate' ripple effect across the sandbags
the MEC had to cut back on their budget so they used wax for the sandbags.sorry for the inconvenience.
Yeah, mine too.
If I remember right, mine did it when I updated my video driver (nVidea), or installed newest EA patch.
Not sure which one, but they were about the same time.
Seeing as there has been no new EA patches, try updating your video driver.
I don't get it very often.
This one was on an Armored Fury board.
did you put shrooms in your ammo bags?Ricerckt93 wrote:

-Quoted again- This seems to be a pretty good answer.ssonrats wrote:
I had it before, it happens when the shaders don't optimize properly, delete files in cache folder.
To hell with the Sandbags HOW about the new Urban Camo for San Francisco?
Or asking For a supply Crate on Sharqi and getting it inside the TV Station, I was commander and dropped in on the roof just to resupply my C4 after stacking the flag and I could not find it on the roof I jumped of and low and behold I found it INSIDE the TV station FLAG ROOM....

Cane toads and video games!!!
I find it only happens when I use high lighting settings and textures.
I have seen the problems both with two different cards, an ATI X850XT and with a BFG 7800GTX. Both cards were NOT overclocked. I've seen it mainly in SF maps, but it has popped up on normal maps. Both with all high settings. Resolution was at 1600x1200.
It's definitely a strange one.
