Actually, I think the titan is more like a mobile campground than a vehicle.jord wrote:

im going to whore that thing so bad.
Nope, the titan is actually a vehicle model. Remember when you could still move the titan after the shields went down? Remember how people would shift around like [insert colorful language here] sometimes? It's just like, for example, if you were to stand on top of a bf2 vehicle (take an M1). You shift around. Same with the 2142 vehicles, too. The only difference is that the titan just moves extremely slowly (around 1m/s), so it's not as severe.imortal wrote:

Back on topic:
If the repair "pods" can be killed with normal bullets, then a clark-toting support soldier with EMP nades could take them out...
he wouldn't need the EMP, as the Goliath moves so slowly anyway.
For movement purposes, yes. Keep in mind, though, that EMP also freezes the turrets in place, allowing people to run around it without getting shot at unless they run into a fire lane.

So, two supports spamming EMP nades, and two engineers with Pilums, all hovering over ammo hubs?-MP-Nuke1266 wrote:

Yup, but it can re-whore itself too.-[Silver.Inc* wrote:

yes but it stops the gunners rotating round and changing the majority of his chemical composition to lead in a few secondssamfink wrote:

Okay, I haven't played the beta yet. Someone please tell me just how potent those regen armor packs are? Because I've always prided myself as a one-man vehicle killer army.
They are very potent. I'd say you have to destroy 3 before you could take the whole thing out in own swoop.Magius5.0 wrote:

Correct Amundo. And even with 3 cells down, its still a bitch to take outSuperior Mind wrote:

Damn. Which means all my sneaky-bastard skills aren't going to work anymore--I think I'll have to call in a few buddies to get the job done.
Just one more thing, the goliath recovers faster from EMPs than most vechiles do, So using the orbit strike and emp isn't really a good idea.
One question: Can engis repair the armor re-generators or once they're gone, they're gone for good. (The latter seems to be the logical idea, but I haven't hear anything on that.)
No they can't be repaired at least not when I tried.
but moves so slowly it can't avoid the orbital strikes so that doesn't matterZukabazuka wrote:

Also the Goliath can take the orbital strike quite much to, doesn't die in one hit for sure. Unless the autorepair stuff are almost gone. Then it might be killed faster but normally no, Engineers are worse to face than orbital strike.
In goliath, EMP strike and orbitals are just a bit annoying, until you lose half your regen cells, nothing to worry about at all.
