Haha! I think it would be hard to see the screen on my laptop through that fan though...
Does any one here actually use, or try to use SLI, or are the few people with SLI motherboards just using single cards? I have had nothing but problems with my SLI set up and need some help.
Intel P4 2.8 GHz
ATI Radeon 9600 XT
1 GB RAM
I have all my Video settings on Medium and 2x anti-aliasing. Works fine.
I would not recommend less than 1 GB... I know, I tried 512 MB and
that was bad.

Wow, you're poor
Kontrol you will want about 1 Gig of memory for BF2 to run well - 2gig would be better.
Oh and try and get your memory to run dual channel (Same RAM size and speed) -
2x 512 DDR 400MHZ
2x 1GB DDR 400MHZ
you get the idea

This is my Game Room..
Far right is my old Dell 8250
1 gig of ram
Intel 2.4
ATI 9700 pro
Plays Bf2 at med low setting prety well
Left is my Dell XPS3 which is a MONSTER!
2 gig of ram
P4 3.6
ATI X800xt
Everything on HIGH
Far left is a Rig my buddy built for me
1 gig ram
P4 3.4
ATI X800
Setting at med/high
Not a bad setup if you ask me
Thinking of replacing the dim 8250 with a XPS5 or XPS 600

I have an XPS Gen 3 too... not quite as good as yours, though. I run everything on default (medium), even though I could run it higher. Meh, graphics aren't everything.
3500+ AMD 64 Processor
3.0GB of PC3200 DDR2 SDRAM memory
250GB 7200RPM Serial ATA hard drive
nVidia GeForce 7800 GT PCI-E w/265MB DDR3 and dual DVI inputs
I run it all on high. Runs very smooth.
Not the best..... but I didn't want to over-spend. So this was the best I could get on my budget. For now.......

Ah, ok hehe...just wondering: i know only 2 mainboard manufacturers (ABIT & DFI) who say their boards are DDR2-ready. Dont believe this coz AMD didnt implement any DDR2 feature atm.Bloody Sky wrote:

AMD considers wheter to stop developing DDR2 and immediately go for DDR3, but thats not sure atm.
