If you count the hours played as any army, I don't have even near 250 Global Hours..

Did I meet some special requirement or is this just one of those glithes? My playing time hasn't changed like in those other medal glitches.

EDIT: Oh and it shows up on all of the stat services (including BF2 stat retriever), looks good 8)
And it didn't show up during the game with the drums and stuff. But that's the case when you "legally" get them, too.

Thanks bye, I over-reacted 'cause I love playing with PLA and that would've been awesome if I got the ribbon with some weird requirements.

Well i went to check my stats in the bfhq and it shows up and i think weird but cool then i try some of the other bf2 stats sights and quite a lot of them that are not using cached versions are screwed.

First off, gotta say I love this site. Glad to be a new part of it.

I also got my Far-East Service ribbon today. Honestly it seems like some epidemic. I have nowhere near 250 global hours as MEC (i think like 10-20 hrs) and I didnt recieve a "drumroll" for it. Strange. I looked at my Awards page and went "Whoa, what the hell? Um, yes, I'm the best." My vbro was jealous, he's got way more of everything than me on BF2 and he said "No fair! You suck at this game!"

Anywho, it is strange that suddenly everyone's been getting it. Maybe its just me.

... 250 global hours... no one ever said, AS MEC, just global hours played. There are a very few people who have played 250 global hours as MEC and PLA and still a lot of people have the ribbons...

Anywayz, EA announced that they will adjust requirements for awards in the next patch, since the release of the patch wont be for long anymore, it is very likely they started with the adjustments in de requirements for awards. Hence why >Broggi< already had medals that should be awarded after 2500 hours of play (or something like that)
