So i just picked up the Moretti and Park for the first "real" time last weekend and I am finding I am getting great scores with them

I have got like 15 infiltrator pins in a week and have been promoted loads.

usually I would use the Lambert only but now I hardlyever use it!

Does anyone else find it really easy to snipe? Especially in comparison to BF2142?

You mean in comparison to BF2?  I think BF2 was easier.

2142 is much easier in my opinion. I love to sit and snipe enemies, although I've been going for Expert Support lately.

Its been agreed that hitreg is waaaaaay better in 2142 which means that its easier to hit people that are running. Also you dont loose the scope view between shots which is very useful at long range sniping. Not to mention the 4x zoom. So yep its easier.

Everything is easier in BF 2142, from sniping to revives.

This is easier since:
1) You're able to see where you hit, if you missed
2) It has no deviation
3) It sways, needing actual skills.

sniping rocks in 2142... the run and gun aspect of 2142 is totally flawed..

get the zeller H sniper rifle whenever you can... that beauty will kill almost any soldier in one shot. trust me..

ya, i just decided to use the park or moretti instead of the zeller on tunis the other day, and it was so much better, because it wasnt red on red, and the scope was bigger, and there were 5 shots. with head shots, you dont need more damage.

Hmm....

Tell you what... I have always fancied myself a sniper. I like that there is some skill involved in shooting a very tiny pixel at a cluster of other tiny pixels, moving or not, in the hope that my pixel will hit their pixels. Plus, sniping is definitely the way to go when my wife calls me and wants to talk about her day or something. I can sit there and move the mouse and pretend to listen with the other hand.

I do think sniping is much easier in 2142, especially with the addition of the megascope 3000 or whatever they call it. I'll use the stabilizer if I've set myself up like 5 miles from the intended kill zone, but otherwise I think it's more fun to work with the sway. Also, I think the bullet drop, if any, is much easier to compensate for in 2142. It's a lot of fun to get those headshots, or my personal favorite thing to do, catch a guy in the open, pop him once in the chest, and watch him squirm and hide from me for a good long time. Then, when he thinks I'm done with him, POW! Hee hee....man, that makes people mad.

Oh, my other favorite thing is to let an engineer drop his roller mines all over a silo, then when he almost captures the flag, pop one of his little balloons with the Zeller. Man, talk about anger. Beautiful.

Sniping has been made easier, if you have the noobish people facing you. Pro's will whoop sniper ass using single-shot.

In theory, in the future, should it not be easier?

It's about the same... the sway is to BF2142 what the bullet drop is to BF2.

The major difference is the scope, but you can't see passed the fog anyway, it does make it easier to get headshot.

I never use the stabilizer, once you get used to the sway you don't need it.
