It's ironic the much of the world blames Israel for the woes of the Pallestinians when in fact Arab countries have done virtually nothing to support them before the creation of Israel.

It's ironic that I voted for a fiscal conservative and got the biggest spending president in history.

It's irony that by sealing the southern border with Mexico and deporting all illegal aliens the American social security system would collapse because of all the money that is made from these illegal aliens.

Irony: the former Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu published an opinion piece in the Wall Street Journal, in which he cited U.N. 1559. The leader of the right-wing Likud party declared that Lebanon's failure to disarm Hezbollah was a "direct violation" of the U.N. resolution. And he added that Israel was only using a "fraction of its firepower and is in fact, acting with great care to minimize harm to civilians."

That the supposed "war to end all war" pretty much began the next World War.

WWI begins and ends, Treaty of Versailles is made, screws Germany over (partly because the US didn't ratify it), causes depression and massive inflation in Germany, Hitler comes to power amidst the chaos, and BAM. WWII.

People who drone on about how 'liberals fail' when the problems in the world that they perceive themselves as facing are generally all because of conservatives in other countries: Osama Bin Laden - religious conservative, Iran - staunchly conservative government, etc. It appears to me that 'conservatives fail' - all they do is generate conflict.

He invented the dynamite first. The Nobel Peace prize was the way he made himself look like a peaceful person rather than an inventor of a deadly explosive.

pro life says you don't think innocent babies should be killed

death sentence is killing people who have killed other people.  There is no irony in supporting death penalty while being against abortion.

Nobel created the prize because he saw his own obituary...oops!...The paper stated that his invention (dynamite) was used to murder thousands in war.  The funny thing is, dynamite is too unstable for common military weapons use.
