Cool thanks for clearing that up. And yes, it does seem like an awful amount of work considering you dont get much in return

- Troop Transporter Pin: What Am I Missing?
No you dumb cunts you dont sit under the titan. Damn u stupid gamers. U hover over the titan and let guys drop onto the enemy titan.
I love you! That was the Info I was missing. I´ll try that today right away. I just hovered over the enemy titan in the past, so they spawned and podded out of my transport without me getting points for it. I´ll try the pickup thing!Masterstyle wrote:
You will only get driver assists(drop points) for the people that spawned in your air transport at a minimum distance of about ~500 meters away from the enemy titan. So drop the people off that spawned in your transport when you were ~500 meters away from the enemy titan, then either die and respawn at your titan or fly about ~500 meters away from the enemy titan and have people spawn in your transport again, fly back over to the enemy titan and you will get drop points again for the people that spawned in your transport about 500 meters away from the enemy titan again.
Here are steps for the people who didnt comprehend the above statement. This is how I did it exactly.
1) Pick people up from your titan(IMPORTANT make sure you are around at least 500 meters away from the enemy titan when doing this)
2) Fly over to enemy titan and drop the passengers that spawned in the transport at least 500 meters away off
3) Purposely crash or die so you can respawn at your titan.
4) Repawn at your titan, get in the driver seat of transport that just spawned at your titan againmake sure you are still at least 500 meters away from the enemy titan when people spawn on you and have people get in the transport.
5) Repeat steps 1-4 until you have your pin.
+1 to you sir!

Gentleman, just thought I let you know, how the Troop Transporter Pin REALLY works.
Distance to the enemy titan might be a factor, but I doubt that. I got mine yesterday (at last) and did it within a range of about 300m to the enemy titan (starting on our titan flydeck).
So here comes the inside scoop:
The only thing you gotta do is picking up people at your own titan and fly them over to the enemy titan where they need to drop. That´s all.
It doesn´t matter, where on the enemy titan they drop. I think they can even spawn directly in your transport, as long as it´s located on (or maybe near) your own titan.
That´s the trick, nothing else.

the titan air drop is neither aquired by flying your ass all over the map, or getting people from your titan to theirs. simply fly transport (it matters not where you are), wait for people to spawn, come in low on their
titan, and let them off. some people need urging. when you see "You got a driver ability assist", you know
you have successfully initiated a titan drop. you need to be very close, but not touching, the enemy titan deck
to have it count as a titan drop.

wrong and you deserved that /fail
Dont park it, you will have to hoover in the exact right hight above the bottom cargo deck... and it's not impossible in 1.20
And it doesnt matter sh*t whether you pick up ppl from your titan or they spawn into your transport when over the enemy titan, if you are in the right position, they will count nomatter what, 80% of the guys i dropped spawned in my transport when i hoovered over their titan for a good 3 mins.
i think it works best in suia tahiba on the EU titan, for some reason the titan seems to be in the excact altitude where you can hoover just below AA guns fire and still be over the deck...

Your thoughts, insights, and musings on this matter intrigue me
It DOESNT MATTER where you drop the solders on the back end of the titan jeez. just look at my above post that is exactly how you would get it.ShawN_ wrote:

Easy, just get in a 16 play map, and make sure that your titan sheild goes down before theirs. They'll board, then when the rest of your teams defending, go with a supply buddy and blow everything up. I have 3 of those pins ; )TheOneAndOnlyX wrote:

but i need one more for the titan medal though not that easy to achieve

I've gotten that pin twice. Getting it is rather easy & requires coordination from your teammates. First, anybody can spawn in your transport. The thing is, you have to be roughly 500 meters away from the enemy titan. I don't know why, but it works that way. Anyway, if someone spawns on you & you're close and/or above the enemy titan, fly away from it until you're 500 meters or more away from the titan. Then fly towards it. Use countermeasures before you go above the enemy titan. I usually have my teammates pod out on the back end of the titan. If you get 10 successful drops in a round, you'll get the pin. Get 15 in a round & u get the ribbon. Hope this helps. :-)sergeriver wrote:
I tried to get this pin several times, but it doesn't work. I know this has been answered before, but I did all the stuff they told and nothing happens. I park my heli on the lower deck of the enemy titan and the guys keep spawning on it and nothing. Yesterday more than 20 guys spawned on it. What is wrong? Should I be in the heli? Pls help me with this.
Also, you don't need to purposely crash & die to respawn at your titan. Once you fly towards the enemy titan from a minimum of 500 meters out & they pod onto the back of the enemy titan, fly away from it & hover from 500 meters away. When teammates spawn on you, repeat process.
i have lots of them want one?
