Most likely due to one sentence in the patch log:

-Minimum re-arm time for Grenade Launchers.

Just another correct observation (ie. fact) reported by yours truly.

EA has no community support. Look at CnC Renegade, they dropped all support for that game, even server hosting after 1.5 - 2 years.

i was always for a minimum distance for the GL not only cause its realistic but also to stop the noob tubers and im not talking about ppl using it on medium or long distnace but the "in your face" karkand addicts

- Grenade launcher projectiles now have a minimum time before arming.

I think that means that the projectile has to travel a certain distance or be in-flight for a certain time before it detonates. This is to prevent close-range use of grenade lauchers.

they decreased the splash radius and added a timed fuze. i think just the timer alone would have been enough to placate all the complaints about close range noob tubing, there's really no reason to make it weaker if it's limited to medium range and further.

I dislike the idea of paying for these booster packs.....but im not going to pretend that I wont buy them!! lol

As for the GL - they haven't changed the damage at all, it will still kill as well if you hit your target - just that hitting anything will become a little more difficult. (i.e you need to be further from the target and more accurate to get a kill)

I've read some of it and also some remarks of those that have signed the petition. It's a little confusing, is it a petition against the booster pack, because some of the remarks are a little 'at odds' with one another. Some do want the packs but are not willing to buy online, some say 'it's about loyalty' and will buy, and some say, 'they don't like the idea but will buy anyway'. So you can see where the confusion is. There's also duplicate entries..... and the funniest. 'Petition's are worthless' remark.

I'm all for petitions... so perhaps I ought to start a petition to see if we can have a petition

I don't like the 'milking' and 'squeezing' effect that EA have incorporated, but it's just a game. You buy it if you want to further expand the game. If you don't want to, don't buy. I hope the patches will remain free though, but then that's atotally different thing.
