Well, I lost my Sharp GX15 MP, its really anyoing when u loss such a thing, although its not the best in the market, and it wasn't a very expensive phone anyway. Now I'm looking for a new phone, and I was looking at this one, which looks pretty good. http://play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/GENEC/52 … type=genre . Just wondering if anyone own one of these and can tell me if its a good choice or look for another phone. The price I will be able to afford is 150 max probably.

Fantastic phones, camera is as good as a normal 3mpx Sony Cybershot, also the earphones you can get for it are fkin fantastic, a bit similar to Sony's MDR EX71SL's, so it makes a good mp3 player too. Only thing that annoyed me about the k800 is the fact they went from SD to micro SD memory cards, as they cost more and store less (1GB max compared to 4GB with normal SD, might be more now i haven't looked in a while) and aren't really much smaller.

Be gentle with the stick on it though or it wont last a year.

Cool, just noticed that its a "pre-pay" I don't really have any idea what that is? I would like Pay As You Go though. Is that the same thing?

i have a K800i and its pretty nice. the camera is actually usable to take pictures, the mp3 player works well (you might want to get other earphones though, then again i'm spoiled by my sennheiser). if you want a bit of space you need an extra memory card which are pretty expensive. the display is nice and big. Keypad has a good quality, the joystick is the one found on all sony-ericsons (i.e. not terrific but gets job done). the speaker is ok, but the sound quality is not great and the volume is not loud enough IMO to be useful in loud areas.

so if you can afford it, go for it. its an all round good phone

My girlfriends got it. Its just like all the other sony ericcsson phones but with the snazzy camera.

I mean i love ericcssons, my last 3 phones have been them!

But the software on that phone is fucked!!! It turns itself off all the time.

But anyway dont get it, get the W850i like i have, its amazing!

camera: sucks like a 1Mb camera mobil phone
video: sucks like a 1Mb camera mobil phone
mp3 playback: very good with nice bass and treble ok
screen: very nice - big and clear
buttons: very nice - good quality
file transfer software: absolutely sucks big time "no device connected" so f**king complicated
light behind buttons: purple it sucks
overall look: very nice
and last:
this phone can't be place upright in any way - it has to lie down - WTF?
I'll buy a nokia next time if they are any better
try other phones before You buy this one

WOOP!!!.... I found my phone wahoooooooo. I left it in my chemistry class and my teacher got it when we all went out. Now I don't have to spend any money on any phone xD!

I'll probably be gettin the w880, was going for a k800 but then i saw how dinky the w880 is , k850 should be out in a few months, that should be nice.

When I signed a contract I got a LG U8360 for free. That K800 or something was maybe 50€.

Contracts are just a rip off, unless you're gonna use it loads its cheaper to just fork out £150 on a phone and buy credit.

yea I agree it depends on how much you use it but also on the contract. I pay 7€ per moth and I get 100 minutes free every month. Plus the international calls are way cheaper.
In my case I do use it often since I dont even have a land line, just the cell.

Anyways I wondering how its like in the rest of the world. In Austria they are extremely generous with cell phones and contracts.

7€ is about £5 at a guess so thats insanly cheap, be lucky to get one for less than £10 a month here in the UK and you sure as hell wouldn't get the phone free either (not a decent phone anyway).

I have w850 i wickedphone, just downloaded "Bullseye" the game for it. IInnnnnn 1, a sewing machine, nice.

It came with the speakers too, awsome phone 1000 songs to hold on it, easy to use, it even helps you pull birds.

500 mins to any network, anytime. 500 texts, to any network. And If I register another person who has same network as me (orange) we can ring each other for free, it wont even come out of my 500 mins. They call this magic number. What I dont use each month gets carried over.
