I just had the same problem - phew, I'm glad I'm not alone.
I'd say some one sold you a banned padded out account.

Same thing happened to me. I think it might be some global thing. Maybe they're improving bf2 in some way....ha, like dice or ea would ever do that. If this happens to anyone else, please post, im curious to how many people its affecting.

wait a couple of days, if that dosent work you go to C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles and delete it... but then you have to recover the account and set up all your controls and graphics etc..

I read another thread where another guy asked for help in the same matter.
There was one guy there who told you to download CCleaner.
I did this and after that it worked...
It was either that or then there went 10 minutes...
