They added lots of new sayings in the 1.03 patch, for variety, before that things were pretty limited.

squad leaders and squad members have different things they say:
Squad leaders say "medic to this position" and "requesting a medic"
Squad members say "i need a medic here" or "i need a medic quick"
commanders just say "i need a medic here"

" Variety is the spice of life " that's why.

If you are carefull with the Commands screen, you can construct Japanese Hi' Cuo's. Though it does require some practice. Its mandatory for some of the European clans as they have a much higher literary sense Than the coarser under educated American clans.

no it depends on the sound card of ur computer...when BF2 installs it reads ur computer to see what settings will run best for BF2...so if u have a basic comp setup (i.e can barely play BF2 but can) then u'd have everything set to low, er hem just like mine lol...but u can sometimes put the settings up but it will run slower...i did this for a bit and put the sound settings up to medium from low and they had considerably different sayings like the one's u quoted before as well as more realistic gunfire, arty explosions, vehicle sounds etc etc...in summary it depends how much shit ur computer can take...

eclipse is correct.

before, when i was using software audio settings, i got very few variations in speech and sound.  now with my x-fi and sound on ultra high, there are many more sounds and voices ingame.
