EA Link - Session timed out

Hi to all.

I tried to pre-load the NS-Boostter. But I always got the message "session timed out". So I waited for today. But the problem is still ther. As soon I click on the "buy download" link I get a session timed out message. And of course, I was loged in propperly in EA Link.

Any help?

Might have something to do with heavy traffic got the same message when i was gonna Pre-load NS ( same day as 1.20 patch came out ) . I just waited a couple of days and it worked properly.

Exactly. This is the message I get.
I just re-installed it. But it did not help. I think, EA-Link sucks. So I just will not buy NS. Because financial consequences are the only ones that are understood by EA. It is sad but fact.

Wait for EA to pull their fingers out of their arseholes and amke a fix?

Changed Credit details, correct country everything

And dont do it on a new account because you wont be able to play on your main account because of the EA.com account thingy

1. Microsoft Internet Explorer needs to be you standart browser. (Extras, Options, Programms --> check for standart browser

2. Allow coockies! (Securitylever on low)

After doing this, I had to remove ea.com from my coockie-block-list.

Now it works. I still think that EA-Link sucks. A programm that is based on the explorer is just crap!!!

I found a solution..... log out......then log in manually get your password wrong... it then goes through security ...confirms its you takes your details then lets you download!!! ..

Played last night....pretty good!!

Spiderman696's way is right for pretty anyone with EA Link Session problems. As it is an inferior piece of infernal software it uses IE libraries/settings for connections/downloads.

I had the same problem when I wanted to download my BF2142:NS (EU, bought empty box with download code).

As much as it hurt to stray from Firefox as standard browser for some minutes, I did and it worked.

Funny it's necessary to lower security settings... never knew IE actually had security
