I installed xfire about 1 week ago. After i installed it, i noticed a slight lag with BF2. Even when I logged off and exited xfire, it was different...slight lag every 5-10 seconds. I was still able to own noobs, but I found it annoying.

I uninstalled xfire today and things are back to normal.

How is this possible and does anyone else have this problem?

are you sure you weren't clicking the screenshot button..

I did that when I first installed.. kept pressing the Screenshot hotkey and it would lag like fuck...
Change the hotkey and see if it makes a difference.
