does anyone know how to start preparing for this? if so how? also what excercises can get you to do better on pull-ups (i mean like lifting weights)?
yeah, actually i've seen that site before, but never really bothered to check it out fully, thanks though, i'll check it outacEofspadEs6313 wrote:
My goal is to become a SEAL too, but I'm going in as a Corpsman for two years before I go for BUD/S.
Here's a great site for some help that I found helpful:
http://www.navyseals.com/community/forums/index.cfm
Those boards are full of people who want to become SEALs, who have been to BUD/S but didn't pass, or, very rarely, people who are actually SEALs.
Also, the information on that site has piled up since 1996, so there's a HUGE amount of topics that talk about what types of training you can do for what part of your body at whatnot.

the only thing navy recruiters got to get them in service
I heard its really though training. I heard one time that out of the 800 applicants on a hand full got through all the way. If you really want to become a SEAL you have to really, really, really want it bad, tough training.
You have to get use to the cold water they make you swim in. If you don't like cold, wet and dirty, you don't belong there. I know I can't make it. really tough

it is about 80% fail rate or out of 100 prospectees about 20 will make it. and each class starts out at about 400 people and ends at about 80link52787 wrote:
