They're way too heavy for me to step over something so short as a railroad track. Fuck, it's 2142, why do we still even have railroads? I thought we'd have developed freight teleporting technology by now. I mean, shit, we got these pods that let us drop from hundreds of feet up without feeling a thing (except for the initial launch... I scream every time!).
Sorry, got off on a tangent there. Anyway, I think I need to find some lighter boots. Too often I find myself unable to sprint in the heat of battle because I had to jump over a 6" piece of debris. Damn you, future Doc Martens! Some douche with a Turcotte SMG got me again, no thanks to you! Anyone know where I can find the Boots of Stepping Over Things?
