I agree, there are two things I can't deny:
#1 EA are opertunistic money-grabbers
#2 I will buy the add-ons anyway, because i'm a guliable schmuck

1st, EA is there for the money, it's kinda obvious!
2nd, they want us to have some fun and have theyr franchise live long, i'm ok with that!
3rd, no hard copy? what is that? i don't like it. What happen if i have to format or loose everything 'cause of a virus? can you burn that download and re-install it? if yes, it could be ok. But still you need a credit card and that will cool down many.
3 maps and new army is ok! for 10 bucks what do you got these days anyway?!

My concurances to you. I'm going to get a portable hard drive for my writing projects, and moments like these, where you pay for a bunch of bytes that can suddenly vanish because some virus killed Windows.thefousteph wrote:

I'll most likely get it. Sounds like it will add some cool stuff. Getting a soft copy doesn't really bother me as long as I can back it up or burn it to a DVD.
Plus, even if you add up the cost of the game + expansion pack + booster packs, still MUCH less than what you'd pay to play those damn MMORPGs...
