There's a shop 10 mins. drive form my place where some guy builds GT40's and Cobra's
The GT40's are made out of fiber-glass or rarely carbon fiber. And they carry genuine GT40 Replica Ford engines. The interior is custom made and its very limited, just the basic stuff. They go good and use pretty much the same amount of fuel as a Corvette.
The cobras are made out of fiberglass and have a custom metal welded frame to hold the body. Not sure about the engine (I'm not a Cobra fan) but the interior is all custom, as they can't get replica parts.
