I want to improve my computer. So I was looking for a graphics card. This one: http://www.mpx.no/aspx/produkt/prdinfov … plid=76573

But I do not know much about these things. So, yeah it's a Norwegian site, but you can understand the important things. It looks like a cheap price, but is it really a good card? What else do I need to upgrade when it comes to hardware? Hope nothing. Have 2 gb of ram, Pentium 4 processor(I think), aaand.... yeah.

So, looks like a good card or get something else?
914 kr... around 150 dollars.

I have a 7600 GT and I'm happy with it for now (until I can afford a DX10 card that is) Depending on exactly what type of processor you have you should be ok with this card, provided your mobo is a PCI-E interface. www.newegg.com has them a little cheaper but I'm not sure about import/exporting on that site.

This should be in the Tech forum.

But it'l run any game out right now (but not maxed out) so it should be good. Just make sure you have a PCI-E slot on your mobo and not a AGP.

well its a 7600GS (crippled GT) so the performance is not stellar. you wouldnt be very happy with it. try to afford a 7600GT or x1800GTO at least
also you should put this in tech

EDIT: loads of ram doesnt help because its so slow.

It wouldn't be too smart to buy a high end 7 or 8 series card right now with all of the new 8's coming out in a month or so. All 7 series and 8 series currently out now will drop drastically soon. If you have a 7600GT, hold on for a month, if you don't maybe you could buy it, then sell later :p

Well, right now I got a ATI Radeon x300 or something like that on my computer. 256 mb of ram. Can't run BF2 on medium and at the same time use Fraps. I would love to buy a card that would make it run very smooth and at the same time not have to upgrade anything else. Probably a lost case.
