ive been playing commander a lot lately and the rounds would be around a half-hr to an hour long anyway i stay as support and hide somewhere...nobody ever finds me but at the end of about half my rounds i ended up with 1 kill and no deaths and i never saw anybody...do u get a kill if you get a lot of arty kills? 10-20 i remember i had one round i got the mystery "kill" or maybe dropping a supply crate on sombody gave me that kill i dont know

somethings really messed up then; its on wake dont know if that makes a difference i have no claymores or c4 as being support and i hide in the water on the one side of the carrier and im in command menu the whole round
When you drop arty and it damages a vehicle (to 3 bars or less) but doesn't destroy it, then someone runs past it and it explodes killing them, will give you a vehicle road kill, not an arty kill, which is what would have happened. The same thing can also happen in reverse where a teammate runs past it and you get a team kill which they can punish for and you lose the 4 points.
Other things include, barrels exploding.. vehicles exploding giving you team and team vehicle damage etc etc. Its only direct arty kills (which are what happens 99% of the time) which wont effect number of kills or minus points.

Also, sometimes it just says "CommanderTwisted [killed] PoorBastardUnderArty" which would count as a kill for you.

humm... but i rarely, very rarely, go commander. And if i do, it would be on an IO server anyway, which judging by the explainations, is why i haven't seen any.Missionless wrote:
