With Geomitries up, you can see more distant objects, and I would rather own people with the help of an fps over 90 then to have my game look a bit better.

Med to low graphics at 1024 @100hz, but with maxed out AA/AF and view distance of course.
80 to 100 fps on my rig with those settings.

Wtf are you sure because a guy posted just now he got 8x with a lower ati card is it my drivers or what because in nvidia control panel it says 2x 4x 8x but it wont let me select 8x and it only goes up to 4x in my bf2 options whats going on. btw my card is a 7950gtMissionless wrote:

11xx by 8xx (cant remember exact demensions). Everything on highest. Including AA. AS is forced to 4x. I used to play on a geforce 5200, w/ 512 megs of ram.

It works, and for some reason, I see no difference when AA is turned on....

i have a pretty decnet graphic card for your main stream use. i could leave the graphics on medium-high and still play smoothly but i don't ...because i play on karkand mostly and with low graphics i can see snipers, claymores, enemies more easily on low. but seriously when i just recently turned graphics on medium just recently i am amazed out of my pants how bf2 is so COOL and "realistic" but i turned it back down to low and no shadows because i can't see the snipers, etc,etc.

For the first year and a half, i had it on the max i could handle- most on medium, some on high.
Then i got bored with the longer loads, and the graphics no longer impressed me.
So now it is everything on load, one of the first in the map, no lag whatsoever, alt tab is a breeze.......

i don't really care about graphics. with these settings you will notice the contours even better and the viewing distance is higher than everything on high(strange but true)
