The biggest problem i see with BF2 or any game made by EA.

They don't update games like other companies, everything EA does just about they want to charge us money for, we dont get any new maps or weapons unless we shell out $29.95 for expansion or $9.95 for booster packs. (feel sorry for people who wasted money on Euro Force)

I don't understand why EA doesn't update/patch their games like Valve does, they keep working to fix bugs and adjust the game even after its been out over 3+yrs.

I know the BF series isn't as big as Counter-Strike but still they should atleast fix the game right.
Theres a reason why CS is so big, the company behind it keeps patching/updating it.

Dude, there has been like 8 patches already for BF2 plus 2 maps added, Wake and Jalalabad. What are you exactly talking about?

We did, however, get Jalalabad in 1.4, didn't we? That is uhh... new content. I guess.

I must say however that Dice does allow BF2 to have far to many bugs that should have been fixed long ago. Valve games actually work. My BF2 server browser still doesn't work properly, making it a pain in the ass simply to join a game. Stuff like this should not be a problem. Somehow, in BF2, it is. Give me Valve-style support any day.

They have added 2 new maps. Wake and Jalala. They have added new unlocks which can be accessed for free EASILY.

Calm down. Not saying I like the valve games more, just saying they have better support. BF2 is more fun to play in theory, it just has so many shit going on that sometimes it's just too much trouble to play. Two new maps and a handful of unlock are nothing really compared to other online games. Just showing that the developers care about the game would be nice, but of course, they don't. They care about 2142 and money.
