What's Your Countrys Legal Drinking Age??

I was thinking about this the other day but I've always wondered what the legal drinking and smoking ages in other countrys are. Canada where I am is 19 for both and I know the US is 21 (poor bastards ) but what about other countrys like the UK and Aussieland.

Let me know I think it would be sweet to see the differences.

What? There's a drinking age in the US? I've never noticed...or headed them for that matter.

Yes, sadly the U.S. is 21, but thank God that the Canadian border is only an hour drive away! Of course, I surprisingly have yet to take advantage of this. It might be because I go to college, and living in a college town you can easily obtain what your thirst desires at any one of a number of parties going on However, I do remember one of my friends who got "kidnapped" by 3 other friends who blindfolded him, got him in their car, drove to Canada, got a hotel room for the night, and proceeded to get Wasted! lol

Its 16 to smoke here,18 to drink and 17 to drive.

BUT you have to be 21 for gay sex,god knows why there is an age by law for bum sex.

And in the UK kids can drink at 5 with parental supervision.
Also, not to my surprise there is no drinking age in Sierra Leon.

Finland 18 for drinks containing up to 21% alcohol, 20 for all the rest. I´m not sure if Finland still considers drinks 80-96% as illegal drinks!!! They are in the same class with weed...

IN AUSTRALIA - 18 to GET YOUR FULL LICENCE (16 for ur learners.. (which means u must have someone with a full licence in the car with you at all times) )

DRINKING - 18 (your alowed to drink on your own property no matter what age)

New Zealand - drinking age is 18 smoking age is 18 learners license to drive 15 can have full license by 17

whats the average % of other countrys beer? most round here (Tui, Speights, Db Draught etc.) bout 4.5, or 5 (Steinglager etc.)

Yeah, NZ is 18. It's not bad, although there's a rather large underage drinking 'problem' here - if you want to call it that. There was going to be an amendment to raise the drinking age to 20, but it didn't pass, (thank fucking christ - I'm 19.)

Drinking:
1. 18 years for on your own. You are considered an 'adult'. Two months for me...
2. You can drink at any age at your own property, in the presence of a responsible adult. If you and your dad start drinking, when does he stop being responsible?
