Especially since the advent of the PREFIX box when you sign in... You can just add the clan tag there.
You dont usually have to change your nick. They usually ask that you put a prefix in front of your name at the account screen when you first load BF2.

no, it just adds the prefix (in game only) to ur account, you keep all ur stats

The screen where you can login, there is a box above the accounts where you can enter the prefix. I think the max is 6 letters/marks. 5/6. Not really sure.

and then in the game when you kill somebody (or on the scoreboard, etc) it would say:
-BF2s- G.H.O.5.T. [killed] YourMama
And you keep all your stats and everything...

Yes but you won't find many clans that accept any age. People seem to think that under 18 year olds are total retards that constantly TK or generally dick around on servers.
